Raspberry PiG is an aggregator or receiver that captures sensor data in real time and forwards it to the cloud for analysis and computing.

Placed in a weatherproof case inside the barn at strategic locations, these aggregators connect to the internet through WiFi or cellular mode.

The firmware running on the Raspberry PiG is completely programmable over the air without physical connection.

Raspberry PiG is capable of collecting data from various sources including BaconBits, weighing scale, other environmental sensors using Bluetooth or WiFi protocols. This opens up options to integrate other sensors already available in the barn. For example, by connecting with a digital weighing scale, PorkLogic can provide a listing of the pig’s weight on a daily basis.
